Four cops injured in terror attack in J&K`s Kulgam district

Srinagar: At least four policemen were injured in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district on Sunday, a media report said.

According to ANI, the attack took place near Qazigund in Kulgam.

The militants opened fire on a police party at Nawa Chowgam village in Qazigund, about 75 kms from Srinagar.

The injured were shifted to a hospital.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched an operation to track down the assailants, PTI reported citing an official. 

Further details of the attack were not immediately known.
