Srinagar: One jawan and seven civilians were injured on Tuesday after terrorists launched an attack on paramilitary convoy patrolling in Shopian district in Jammu and Kashmir, said a News18 report.

As per the report, grenades were hurled at Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy today morning. 


One security personnel and seven civilians were left injured in the attack. 


The attack comes amid the ongoing encounter between Indian Army and a group of terrorists, who are hiding inside a government institute in Pampore, 15 km from Srinagar.


The encounter, that began on Sunday morning, entered its second day today.
