"Time and again, government of India is trying its best to convert the Muslim-majority community in Jammu and Kashmir into a minority community with one decision or the other," a Hurriyat spokesman alleged.

"The need is to understand the real motive behind such things as in the recent past efforts were made to settle Kashmiri Pandits in satellite colonies and rehabilitate non-locals discreetly," he claimed.

He said as Kashmiris had protested against the earlier move, new plans were being framed to implement these designs.
