Jammu: Drain breaks banks after heavy rains, 20 vehicles submerged

Jammu: Heavy rains have disrupted life in many parts of Jammu region on Tuesday.

In Jammu city, a big drain broke its banks near Maulana Azad Stadium where International Yoga Day was being celebrated. The sudden flooding caught the participants unawares and they could not before the drain water submerged their vehicles.

As per reports, as many as 20 vehicles were submerged.

Earlier in the day, a landslide led to a blockade along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway following heavy rains near Udhampur.
