Jammu: One soldier was killed and another was injured as Indian Army foiled infiltration bid in Tangdhar sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir Valley on Thursday.

Terrorists attempting to infiltrate (from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir) were intercepted by alert troops which led to the exchange of fire and forces the infiltrators to escape. 


The infiltration bid was foiled, however, one soldier lost his life. 


Ceasefire violations by Pakistan using automatic weapons and mortars in Kathua sector of J&K, BSF strongly retaliating.


Meanwhile, another ceasefire violation has been reported in Kathua sector of Jammu and Kashmir today. 


As per the report, Pakistani Rangers used automatic weapons and mortar bombs to target Indian positions in the region.


Pakistan has intensified the infiltration bid of armed terrorists post September 29 surgical strikes in which several terrorists were killed and their launching pads were destroyed by the Indian Army.
