Bhopal: Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Saturday faced an embarrassing situation, while visiting AIIMS Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.

The AIIMS medical students threw ink at Nadda in protest against poor facilities and faculty at the premier institute.


A students justified the ink-throwing incident saying, "We wanted him (Health Minister) to hear us out, but he did not stop. We wanted to stop him."


AIIMS Bhopal is one of the seven AIIMS apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY).
