Arun Yadav, Congress president of the Madhya Pradesh unit, told IANS: "Had it not been for the explosives, an incident on such a huge scale would not have occurred and resulted in so many deaths."

Yadav also alleged that Rajendra Kasawa, the head of the BJP`s business cell, is a stockist of the explosive materials which are generally used for mining purposes in this region.

According to police, the deaths and destruction occurred after a cylinder blast at a tea stall, which was packed with customers, was followed by a massive blast that ripped through an adjoining building.
