Mumbai: Former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam will interact with students of a Pune-based school on July 4.
"Kalam will visit the Vikhe Patil Memorial School and address and interact with the senior school students," said Ashok Vikhe Patil, the chairman of Dr Vikhe Patil Foundation which manages the school. Vikhe Patil said that he had requested Kalam to visit the school to interact with them as they view him as the only role model for the young generation.
"Kalam can feel the pulse of the new generation and guide them to realise their dreams and goals," he said. The school was started in 1991 and runs CBSE curriculum. It caters to classes from pre-primary to senior secondary with about 1,850 students on its roll.
