"The upcoming polls will not merely decide who comes to power in the state. These polls are the beginning of purification of politics of Maharashtra. When Mumbai and Maharashtra develops economically it has an impact on the economy of the nation. When Mumbai and Maharashtra progress, the entire nation moves ahead," Prime Minister Modi said, while addressing a rally here.

“The Congress-NCP alliance has ruled the state for 15 years and ruined it, now there is a chance to change things. Your aspirations is my responsibility, I have come to ask for a clear majority Govt for development" PM added.

Hitting out at Congress-NCP, Modi said, “Did anyone imagine that a state that leads economy of the nation, can also be destroyed? But look at the power of Congress & NCP. They (Congress, NCP) have same 'Gotra', same habits, same actions and same motives," ANI reported.

For fulfilling BJP's poll promises, Modi once again asked people of Maharashtra to give the party a clear majority and said, "Delhi mein mai baitha hun, mujhe Maharashtra mein sarkar de dijiye, mai kai varshon se band padi yojanaon ko chaalu karke dikhaunga. This is why I have come up with the Mantra of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas'."

PM Modi concluded his speech by saying that the entire World is saying that 21st century is India's century. "But we have lost too much of time,I have a responsibility to first make up for the time we have lost and then move ahead with full force, "PM said.
