Mumbai: Thousands of passengers booking on Air India faced an harrowing time at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport after the airline's check-in system developed a glitch.

Long queues could be seen at the airport of passengers who were left with no option but to wait till the issue was restored.


While Air India is yet to issue a statement, reports said that the chcek-in and boarding system crashed due to a technical glitch.


The airline's staff later started to manually check-in passengers. Any delay at hub airports like Mumbai and Delhi has an cascading affect on the flight schedule across the country.
