Mumbai: A wanted terrorist allegedly belonging to the Indian Mujahideen terror outfit was arrested from the Mumbai airport on Tuesday.

According to reports, Jainul Abedin, who was wanted in connection with the Zaveri Bazar blasts in Mumbai, was nabbed while he was trying to flee the country.


He was arrested by the Maharashtra ATS officials following an intelligence tip off about his movements.


Abedin is believed to have provided explosives and logistic support to the Indian Mujahideen, which was responsible for the coordinated blasts in Mumbai's Zaveri Bazar and other localities on July 13, 2011.
