New Delhi: AAP MLA Pankaj Pushkar was on Friday suspended for two days from the Winter Session of the Delhi assembly for demanding a discussion on 25 percent nursery admissions through EWS quota.

He was marshalled out of the assembly.

Agitated over his suspension, Pushkar staged a demonstration outside the assembly and termed the move `unethical`.

"I was not disturbing the assembly proceedings. I only asked for a debate for issuing orders in compliance with the high court order on ensuring the admission of 25 percent poor students in play-schools and nursery schools under Economically Weaker Section," the legislator from Delhi`s Timarpur constituency said. 

"Marshaling me out of the assembly and suspending me for two days is completely unethical and a biased decision," he added.
