New Delhi: Categorically refuting media reports, Aam Aadmi Party chief and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that he had not accepted any security, cautioning media to show some responsible behaviour.

In a series of tweets posted on his Twitter account, the former Delhi CM reiterated that he has always opposed any kind of security offered to him as God will remain his “biggest security”.

Urging the media to show some caution, while reporting “false news”, Kejriwal demanded to see the “acceptance latter” that would prove that he agreed to take the security.

Kejriwal`s outburst came as some media reports on Sunday said that the former Delhi CM had agreed to accept the Z category security that has an army of 22 security personnel.
Kejriwal had earlier been offered the security by the Delhi Police, which claimed that the former Delhi CM faced threats by the terrorist group Indian Mujahideen.
The reports also quoted a top Delhi Police official as saying that a temporary structure had been constructed at Kejriwal`s Tilak Lane residence in Lutyens` Delhi to adjust the security personnel.

The reports of Kejriwal accepting security come just a day after the AAP leader Yogender Yadav had to bear the brunt of a disgruntled man named Sagar Bhandari, who smeared ink on Yadav`s face during an event to mark Women`s Day at Jantar Mantar.

Bhandari, identified as a worker in AAP`s Shalimar Bagh office, later said that he actually wanted to target Kejriwal.
