Pass percentage in Delhi govt schools up in this year`s CBSE Class 10 exam
The percentage of successful students of government schools of Delhi in CBSE class 10 results went up from 99.23 in 2012 to 99.45 this year.
New Delhi: The percentage of successful students of government schools of Delhi in CBSE class 10 results went up from 99.23 in 2012 to 99.45 this year.
The number of schools achieving 100 per cent results also went up from 400 last year to 597 this year while 924 schools achieved 90 per cent or above results against 505 schools last year.

263 students secured perfect 10 CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average).
Reacting to the results, Minister of Education and Social Welfare Kiran Walia congratulated the students, parents and teachers. "This has become possible because of the hard work done by the students and the teachers and the government`s efforts to promote the atmosphere in the schools to provide best education," said Walia.
Overall, Delhi has witnessed a substantial increase in the pass percentage of students as the figure went up from 97.92 per cent in 2012 to 98.4 per cent in 2013. PTI
