Zee Media Bureau New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday accepted his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina`s invitation to visit the country, the PMO said. Also, the PMO informed that the Indian PM has extended an invitation to Sheikh Hasina to visit India at her earliest convenience. Modi`s invitation letter to Hasina was handed over by the Visiting Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj during a meeting with the Bangladesh PM at her office in Dhaka. MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said, “India, Bangladesh begin discussion on entire gamut of bilateral relations. Bangladesh indicated to our leadership that Bangladesh would never allow its territory to be used against India.” “Our EAM came to Bangladesh with the message friendship and goodwill, to emphasize that Bangladesh is an imp neighbor,” he added.
