New Delhi: Zeenews.com’s Ajith V Kumar and Ritesh K Srivastava were on Tuesday felicitated with the Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award, 2013 as young achievers in the media category. The award distribution ceremony was held on June 11 at the Constitution Club here.
The function was graced by Union Coal Minister Mr Sriprakash Jaiswal, Mr Syyed Sibte Rijvi, former Governor (Assam, Odisha & Jharkhand) and Dr Shakil-ujjaman Ansari, ex-Minister Bihar Government and Member, Minorities Commission of India. Under the aegis of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, the award, instituted in the name of our beloved former PM Rajiv Gandhi, is managed annually by the Seemapuri Times Group (political magazine).
The award aims at honouring upcoming talents from various walks of life, driving them to be responsible citizens and harnessing their maximum potential in the process of nation building.
