Apartment firm`s urge for Facebook `likes` annoys tenants in Salt Lake City
Tenants at the City Park apartments complex in Salt Lake City, Utah, raised the complaint before a local news service that they spotted an add-on in the contract tapped to their door.

New Delhi: An apartment firm's demand for requiring tenants to ''friend'' and ''like'' their apartment complex page on social networking site Facebook irked the latter.
Tenants at the City Park apartments complex in Salt Lake City, Utah, raised the complaint before a local news service that they spotted an add-on in the contract tapped to their door.
It mentioned and required the residents to ''like'' City Park Apartments on Facebook, which they found very irritating.
Post the complaint, the add-on to the contract has been removed followed by an apology by the community manager.
Subsequently, the City Park Apartments Facebook page was flooded with criticism and negative comments.
