Apple takes a new leap, forms power company to sell solar energy!
The technology giant has recently formed an energy subsidiary, `Apple Energy LLC`, headquartered in Cupertino, according to The Verge reports.

New Delhi: Yes, you heard that right! After conquering the world of technology, Apple is all set to venture in power sector.
The technology giant has recently formed an energy subsidiary, 'Apple Energy LLC', headquartered in Cupertino, according to The Verge reports.
As per the request filled with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the brand new company will sell power in whole sale markets across the United States.
In its Environmental Responsibility Report, 2016 Apple revealed that its has plans for 521 megawatts of solar energy globally.
The company itself is using green energy in most of its Apple stores and corporate offices. The tech giant claims that the company generates enough electricity to fulfill 93% of its energy usage worldwide.
Most probably LLC's will start its operation in August.
