According to Tech Crunch, when people search for “register to vote” on Google, the search engine will now display detailed guidelines, voting requirements, as well as information on how to register online, by mail and in person, as applicable.

The company has also added a state-wise guide that will continuously highlight the deadline of registration in a particular state. The registration process is very simple- an information box pops up above the search results and below Google ads that offers three distinct tabs: “How To,” “Requirements,” and “Deadlines.” Users can personalized them based on their locations.

Apart from this, Google recently introduced real-time responses from the nominated candidates into its search results in order to provide users ample information about the political process.
