According to a report in The Verge, Google will soon roll out new feature called Reminder to it's Calendar's web users.

This feature was added few months back to the Google Calendar iOS and Android apps.

'Reminders' is just like events, slotted in at the date and time you set them. But there is one difference between the two, i.e 'Reminder' won't disappear when the day is over unlike events. It will stick around at the top of your calendar until it's marked complete, reportedly.

Over the last years, 'Reminders' have been rolling out across Google properties, as reported.
