Virgin Media has teamed up with Chiltern District Council to create a high-speed, free Wifi zone on the town's high street.

The network provides speeds of up to 166Mbps, with connectivity delivered directly from Virgin Media's street cabinets and the UK's first ever Smart Pavement.

The pilot scheme is available to each of the town's 21,000 residents and businesses, and Virgin Media mobile customers with an Android device will be able access the WiFi seamlessly through the Virgin Media WiFi Buddy app.
