Notably, the minister had last year drew condemnation when he had said that the death of 13-year-old Arshdeep Kaur, who was allegedly molested and pushed out of a bus owned by Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal’s Orbit Aviation, was “God’s will”.

His comments came days after a farmer of Gajisalar village allegedly committed suicide by setting his paddy stock on fire and later jumping into it.
