Bodies of leopard, two deers found floating in dam

Coimbatore: Bodies of a leopard and two deers were found floating in Tirumurthy Dam in nearby Tirupur district on Friday, police said.

The carcass of the animals were noticed by some tourists and locals and they informed the police and Forest Department officials, who rushed to the spot, they said.

Forest Department officials recovered the body and the cause of death would be ascertained after post-mortem, police said.
