New Delhi: Are you tired of seeing every single post of a person whom you barely know? Don't get cranky as Facebook now offers a new way for users to remove junk from their news feeds.

In a bid to personalise the types of content a user sees in his/her news feeds, Facebook on Saturday introduced a feature that will make it easy to push down posts, photos and even pages that you don't want to see.

The process is very simple, a user just has to go to Facebook settings and then click Manage News Feed. From there you can choose to either re-follow or unfollow a person or page or reduce the frequency of appearance of a post or anything from that person or page.

The new settings will be available from Saturday onwards across desktop and mobile phones. However, the customization features will be made available in the coming weeks.
