How El Nino 2015 will effect weather phenomenon - Watch video

New Delhi: US Space agency NASA has released a new map which shows how the effects of El Niño will change weather phenomenon all over the globe.
El Niño is the warm phase of the El Niño Southern Oscillation caused by a shift in the distribution of warm water in the Pacific Ocean around the equator.

Researchers at NASA feel that the effects of El Niño is the strongest since 1997-98. As per satellite observations, El Niño will likely bring more precipitation to California and some relief for the drought. They also believe that El Niños can lead to rainfall to drought-plagued California.
