Islamabad: Five teenaged girls, the daughter and nieces of a labourer, were allegedly gang-raped by eight men in Pakistan`s Punjab province, a media report said Sunday.

The incident took place in Narangmandi of Sheikhupura district, police told Geo News.
Muhammad Boota, a labourer, worked on the land of two people, Mara Jat and Zaheer Jat. He made a deal with the landlords that he would harvest their crops against a mutually agreed payment. When the job was done, he demanded his remuneration, but the landlords tied him and his wife, and allegedly gang-raped his 13-year-old daughter, and four nieces aged 15, 18, 13 and 14.

Mara Jat and Zaheer Jat have been arrested, while six other accused are absconding. Police have registered a case against the accused, and ordered medical examination of the girls.

The five girls had also worked in the fields of the accused.
