Islamabad: Pakistan's counter-terrorism department of police (CTD) has claimed to have arrested a man allegedly trained by the Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), the media reported on Thursday.

The man, Mohammed Arif, confessed to have received training at Indian Army camps, Dawn online quoted CTD official Naveed Nisar as saying on Wednesday.

Khowaja said that acting on a tip-off, the police raided a place near Karachi city's Hub river road and detained him after an encounter. 

The police also seized two hand grenades and a pistol from him, the report said.
