Pakistan`s 350-word plan to tackle climate change - Watch

New Delhi: How serious is Pakistan in tackling climate change? The question does not require anyone to titillate one's grey cells. Well, the seriousness of Pakistan can be gauged by the fact that the South Asian country submitted its national climate plan to the United Nations, weeks after the deadline.
At a time when the countries across the globe are coming out with serious goals to tackle the problem, Pakistan has submitted a not more than 350-word document; yes you read it right, a little more than half-page document, with no measurable goals.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, with a few senior aides, stopped over in Paris (...the Pakistani leader was coming from Malta) to attend the UN climate summit (COP21). Notably, COP21 had been dubbed by some as the defining event of the year.
