Telangana shocker: Cong leader murdered by bike-borne assailants; cops suspect personal rivalry

Hyderabad: A Congress leader has been killed by unknown assailants in Telangana's Secunderabad on Saturday. 

According to reports, two unidentified bike-borne assailants came and opened fire at Yadagiri in the Bowenpally area today. At least six rounds of bullets were fired on him. 

The minister was rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical state where he succumbed to his injuries. 

Police have initiated a probe in the murder case but are suspecting personal rivalry behind the murder of the Congress leader. 

Yadagiri is a former member of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
