An ATS official said here that Dharamveer Singh Yadav and Sipahi Ram were arrested from Darigaon area in Bihar's Rohtas district close to the border with Uttar Pradesh.
The two ultras were trying to create a base in Noida, the official said.

Rohtas, one of the Naxal-hit districts of Bihar, is close to Chandauli district in Uttar Pradesh from where one arrest was made on Sunday. Nine others were picked up from Noida.

Today's arrest of two Naxals was made on a tip off from four ultras -- Ranjit Paswan, Krishan Kumar, Pawan Kumar Jha and Ashish Saraswat -- taken on seven-day custody of the UP ATS which got their remand till October 26.

Averting a major Naxal attack in the national capital and its neighbourhood, the UP ATS had on October 16 smashed a gang of ultras arresting 10 of them, including a self-styled area commander, and recovering a huge cache of arms and ammunition.

The left-wing extremists were adept at making bombs and were planning some incidents in the Delhi-NCR region, IG (UP-ATS) Aseem Arun had said.

Nine Naxals were arrested from Noida, on the outskirts of Delhi, while one from Chandauli near Varanasi.

The arrested Naxals were active in eastern UP and adjoining parts of Bihar and had made Noida their base.
