Couple crushed to death in Bareilly

Bareilly: A 50-year-old man and his wife were crushed to death by an unidentified vehicle in Bithari Chainpur are here Thursday.

Devendra and his wife Sarla Devi (45) were seriously injured when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by the vehicle near Navdiya village, police said.

While Sarla died on the spot, Devendra succumbed to injuries at the hospital, they said.

Additional Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh said that efforts were being made to trace the vehicle.
