Farmer strangulated to death in Muzaffarnagar

A 30-year-old farmer was allegedly strangulated to death by unidentified persons in Vmakhiyali village in UP.

Muzaffarnagar: A 30-year-old farmer was allegedly strangulated to death by unidentified persons when he had gone to irrigate his fields at Vmakhiyali village in the district.

The body of Manoj Kumar was found from his fields in Vmakhiyali village yesterday, police said.

The victim might have been strangulated to death as his body was found along with a rope, they said.

A case has been registered against unidentified miscreants, police said, adding that the body has been sent for post-mortem.

Investigation was on in the case, police said.
