Gorakhpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the Gorakhpur city on Friday where he will fulfil two promises made by him during the 2014 Lok Sabha polls – setting up an AIIMS hospital and second revival of the fertilizer unit.

During his around four hour long visit to Gorakhpur, the centre point of the backward eastern Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi would address a saint conference and unveil the statue of Mahant Avaidnath at the Gorakshnath temple.


PM will also address a mammoth public rally at the Fertilizer ground after laying the foundation of AIIMs and the revival of the fertilizer unit where union Health Minister J P Nadda, Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra, Union Chemcials and Fertilizer Minister Anant Kumar, Union Energy Minister Piyush Goel and Gorakhpur BJP MP Yogi Adityanath will be present. 


UP BJP president Keshav Prasad Maurya will preside over the function at the rally ground.
