Karnataka High Court acquits J Jayalalithaa in disproportionate assets case

In a major relief for former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa, a special bench of the Karnataka High Court on Monday acquitted her in the disproportionate assets case in which she was convicted and sentenced for four years' imprisonment by a trial court on September 27, 2014.
