Vienna: Austria`s state-owned rail company announced Sunday it will suspend train services with Germany as Europe tries to cope with a massive surge of refugee arrivals.
Service was due to be halted from 5:00 pm (1500 GMT), Austrian Federal Railways told press agency APA, without elaborating. The announcement came as the German press reported Berlin is set to reintroduce controls at the border with Austria.
