Five dead in Yemen fighting
Fighting broke out on Tuesday near a damaged oil pipeline east of the capital Sanaa in Yemen, killing five militants and injuring three soldiers.

Sanaa: Fighting broke out on Tuesday near a damaged oil pipeline east of the capital Sanaa in Yemen, killing five militants and injuring three soldiers. A Defense Ministry official said the fighting in turbulent Maarib province started when government troops backed by air strikes tried to secure the pipeline and repair damage inflicted last month by local militants. In another incident, two gunmen on a motorbike shot dead Brigadier Fadel Mohammed Ali, an adviser to the minister of defense, outside the ministry`s offices in Sanaa.
