London: Spreading the message of harmony and peace over communal hatred, London’s first Muslim mayor, Sadiq Khan, visited city’s famous Shri Swaminarayan temple in Neasden a few days ago before he was elected.

He later shared the pictures of his visit to the temple on his Facebook handle which soon went viral on social media.


In one of the pictures, Khan is seen performing 'Jalabhishek' (offering water) on the idol of Shri Swaminarayan.
