White House spokesman Josh Earnest says he can't confirm whether the passport scan and internal White House communications disclosed today are authentic. He's declining to say who may be responsible for the breach.

Secret Service spokeswoman Cathy Milhoan says her agency is aware of what she calls the "alleged email hacking." She says the Secret Service is concerned whenever unauthorized information is released about someone the Secret Service protects.

The information was posted on the same site where former Secretary of State Colin Powell's private emails were recently disclosed.
