Syria opposition to decide on attending crucial peace talks in Geneva
Ahead of the crucial peace talks, US Secretary of State John Kerry has made an appeal to the Syrian rebels to be a part of the Geneva II talks.

Washington: Ahead of the crucial peace talks, US Secretary of State John Kerry has made an appeal to the Syrian rebels to be a part of the Geneva II talks, as per news reports on Friday.
The Geneva II talks are being held with an aim to end the ongoing conflict in Syria and to set up a transitional government, Kerry reportedly said.
Syrian National Coalition, the opposition group in Syria, will vote on Friday to decide whether or not they want to be a part of the peace talks which which will be held on January 21, as per news reports. Kerry reportedly said that the Geneva II talks will be instrumental in bringing an end to the civil war.
He further said that with the help of the conference, Syrian rebels will get an opportunity to achieve the goals that they have for the people of the country, news reports stated.
Around 100,000 people have reportedly been killed in Syria`s civil war that has been going on from the past three years. Meanwhile, Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), on Thursday said that the destruction of chemical arsenal is likely to be delayed until end of June.
