Syrian children burn tyres to obstruct warplanes bombarding besieged Aleppo

Aleppo: Syrian children in the besieged area of Aleppo have been burning old tyres in an attempt to form no-fly zones over their homes, media reports have claimed.
In a footage released by pro-rebel news agency Halab News Network, young children are seen in the besieged rebel areas collecting tyres and burning them to form a 'smoke curtain' to hinder visibility from warplanes that have been carrying out bombing raids in the Syrian capital.
As the children collect tyres and set them ablaze, they also croon simultaneously, what are reportedly victory songs, to display their courage and unity.
Rebel-held parts of Aleppo have been heavily bombarded by Syrian government forces in recent weeks.
Aleppo city has been divided between government control in the west and rebel control in the east since 2012.
Pictures of these children burning tyres have emerged online and they have been called 'young heroes' on the social media. The images are being shared on Twitter under the hashtag, '#AngerforAleppo'.
