The brawl between members of Turkey's governing AK party and pro-Kurdish politicians reportedly erupted soon after a committee met to discuss the government-backed changes to the constitution.

In the video, some parliamentarians can be seen launching themselves into the melee from table, while others throwing water or aimed punches at others.

The opposition Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) later alleged that the move is aimed at stifling dissent.

Several parliamentarians were injured in the fighting. Watch the video here.
