Not only the rocket-propelled bicycle notched the unbelievable speed, but Switzerland's François Gissy (the cycle rider) in a face-off with a Ferrari 430 Scuderia left the speedy car far behind, creating buzz around the internet world.
The startling video has gone viral on the web and has got 10,197,472 views till date.
The video shows the cycle is fuelled by a mix of compressed air and hydrogen peroxide. On 7 November 2014 Gissy reached the speed of 207 mph on the bicycle designed by his friend Arnold Neracher at a motor racing circuit in Le Catallet, France.
With the latest record, 2013 Gissy broke his own record of 2013, when he had notched the speed of 177.13 mph.
Reports say that the makers will be coming forward with a new bicycle in 2015, which would break the record of the rocket-propelled bicycle.
