Kamaal was lashed out heavily on social media after he made an insulting remark on Babita's views on the Gurmehar's controversial post.

After being slammed by Babita initially, KRK tweeted, "I was having highest respect for Phogat girls but they don't deserve it, because They are born to live on govt incentives n benefits only."

Hitting back at KRK, Babita tweeted, "No one gives any incentives without reason. Phogat sisters have proved themselves & earned respect."

Babita, along with her sister Geeta Phogat, joined the likes of former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag and wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt as they came down heavily on Gurmehar.

The Phogat sisters have stood by their stand and also lashed out at veteran Bollywood actor Javed Akhtar, who called Yogeshwar 'a hardly literate' wrestler.

On Tuesday, as Babita expressed her disappointment over Gurmehar's tweet, KRK also entered the debate.

Taking a dig at Babita, KRK tweeted, "Ye Lo ji @BabitaPhogat Jisko Theek Se Bolnaa Tak Nahi Aata, Usko Bhi Pata Chal Gaya Ki #GurmeharKaur is speaking against the nation. Lol!"

Here's how Babita replied to KRK's tweet:

Babita's sister Geeta also slammed KRK for his comments over the controversy.

While several sections reckon Gurmehar is innocent and was batting for peace between India and Pakistan, the majority has slammed her for her anti-national stand.
