India ended its winning haul at the 21st Commonwealth Games 2018 in Gold Coast at the third spot with 26 Gold, 20 Silver and 20 Bronze medals, an overall count of 66 medals. Saina Nehwal won the first Gold for India on Sunday after a nail-biter match defeating her compatriot PV Sindhu in the Badminton finals. India now stands strong at the third spot with 26 Gold, 19 Silver and 20 Bronze medals, an overall count of 65 medals. In Table Tennis, Achanta Sharath Kamal won the bronze for India in the singles on Sunday. World no 1 Kidambi Srikanth lost to his opponent from Malaysia Lee Chong Wei but bagged the Silver for India in the men's final.
