Earlier, it was being said that the 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' hunk developed a drinking problem after the much-hyped mid-air brawl with Sunil Grover. But, were such rumours true at all? Well, let's hear from the horse's mouth.

"It affected me deeply. I started drinking heavily. It was so unnecessary. And so painful to me. Sunil Grover, Chandan (Prabhakar), Ali Asgar are all my friends. How could this happen?" a Hindustan Times report quoted Kapil as saying.

However, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kapil denied checking into a rehab and said, "I am currently in Bangalore undergoing Ayurvedic treatment. I needed to repair my body to make a great and healthy comeback. I am hoping to be back in Mumbai by September-end. Most of what has been written about me lately is rubbish. I have been working for the last 10 years without a break and I needed medical help to combat anxiety, blood pressure and sugar problems and correct an unbalanced diet."

On the cinema front, Kapil is working on his upcoming venture 'Firangi'. The film is said to be helmed by Punjabi filmmaker Rajiv Dhingra.
