According to ANI, the action has been taken against the 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' actor for destroying mangroves in Versova, Mumbai.

More details regarding the same are awaited.

This is not the first time Kapil has landed in trouble.

Earlier, the Mumbai civic body - BMC - had issued notice to Sharma and Irrfan Khan under section 351 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, claiming that certain constructions in the 18-storey residential building 'DLH Enclave' in Goregaon, in which the actors have flats, were illegal and hence will have to be razed.

Later, the Bombay High Court directed the civic body to file its affidavit in reply to petitions filed by the stand-up comedian and actor Irrfan challenging the notice issued against them.
