New Delhi: Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh recently received a threatening call demanding a ransom of Rs 50 lakh, similar to the threats faced by Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

According to media reports, FIR has been lodged at Danapur police station in Patna after Akshara Singh received a death threat demanding Rs 50 lakh. The caller reportedly threatened to kill her if the money wasn’t paid within two days. Akshara submitted a written application through a close friend to initiate legal action against the individual responsible.


According to reports, Akshara Singh received threatening calls on the night of November 11 numbers between 12:20 and 12:21 from two different numbers, with the caller warning her that her life would be at risk if a Rs 50 lakh ransom was not paid within two days.


Prashant Kumar Bhardwaj, the officer in charge of the police station, confirmed that actress Akshara Singh had filed a complaint regarding the extortion and murder threats. He stated, "The situation is being investigated. The caller will soon be recognized," Officials have assured the public that efforts are in progress to identify the caller.
