"Huge special mention to @Sahilwalavaid for adding so much to  dulhania series with his super talent! Well done Sahil! #BadrinathKiDulhania," the 44-year-old director tweeted. Interestingly, Sahil played the role of Varun's bestie in both the editions of the franchise.

His hilarious performance was appreciated by movie lovers and critics. All we can say is this thank you note from KJo was much deserved.

This is the third time that this lovable jodi is seen sharing screen space. 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' marks the second instalment of '... Dulhania' franchise after 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'.

The Shashank Khaitan directorial released on March 10 this year. It has already collected more than Rs 100 crore at the Box Office.
