Massive fire breaks out at Beaumonde towers where Deepika Padukone owns a flat
The level III fire broke out on the 33rd floor of the apartment in Appasaheb Marathe Marg in Prabhadevi locality.
New Delhi: A massive fire broke out at Mumbai's highrise Beaumonde towers on Wednesday. No casualties have been reported so far and all the residents have been safely rescued from the spot. Firefighting operations are currently underway.
The level III fire broke out on the 33rd floor of the apartment in Appasaheb Marathe Marg in Prabhadevi locality in Worli reportedly. Also, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone owns a flat in the same building on the 26th floor.
Firstpot.com quoted her PR as stating that the actress is out of town for a brand shoot and the house has suffered no damage. Although some of her staff members are at home.
According to ANI, police personnel, at least 10 fire tenders, 5 jumbo tankers, 2 hydraulic platforms and ambulances are present at Beau Monde Towers in Worli's Prabhadevi locality where a level-III fire broke out.
The fire was first reported around 2.16 pm, according to the fire brigade officials.
