Debasish Roy Chowdhury- I started to work with Buddhadev Kaku (uncle) since 1990. He was the pioneer to create 'Bandish' on Tagore's songs. I performed with Him in Delhi, Varanasi, Patna and USA. He was the student of Pt Radhika Mohan Moitra. He had a great sense of humour and was a father figure to me.

Bickram Ghosh- Buddha Jethu (uncle) was just like an elder brother of my father. I've heard his music from childhood and I've also performed with Him. In fact, He took the initiative for my debut concert in 1979. It's a great loss for the Gharana, he belonged.

Rashid Khan- I'm very sad (he was almost crying). He came to my home before 2 months and blessed my son. He was truly an educated person...Big loss for Musical world

Tejendra Majumdar- Great Loss...with his demise India Music World lost a Guru. I'm a great fan of Him from early days
